Thought I'd add my advice. As long as the rave you attend is all about the music, no one cares how awkward you are. No one cares how you're dressed. No one cares about your hair or your make-up or how you dance. Everyone is there to get dirty, and freak out, and feel the bass. When I first went out dancing, I was afraid I would do everything wrong. But, after just one night, it became obvious. Nothing matters except for the music... and, boy, does it feel good.
